As a kid, I remember sitting on the floor of my old home out in the country. I would sit and play jax by myself for hours. We could never afford cable so we would have a couple movies I would watch over and over again, and everytime I hit play the magic would fill my mind with ideas. I remember my favorite was Mary Poppins (1964). I would watch it all day everyday in a trance trying to figure out how everything worked. I mean how could she fly? How could the animals talk? With every piece of media I have ever consumed, I feel it has planted a seed in my brain to crave the exploration of art and storytelling. Growing from a little kid in rural Appalachian Tennessee, to a young adult working full time in the entertainment industry pursuing my dreams, it still feels just as magical. As I finish up my associates degree in video production and media technology, I still am craving more. I want to learn more, grow more, and look for larger opportunities and chances for me to showcase who I really am as an artist in the entertainment industry.
